About Us

Shabbat-o-Grams began as a way to keep camp communities connected during a summer apart. We have now expanded to include all Jewish communities. You can read more about our story in the New Jersey Jewish News.


Summer 2006

Rabbi Shayna Zauzmer spent thirteen summers at Camp Ramah in the Poconos as a camper, counselor, Rosh Edah (Division Head), and Scholar in Residence. She was ordained as a rabbi in 2019 and currently serves as the Assistant Rabbi at Park Avenue Synagogue in New York City. Her favorite camp tradition is Kabbalat Shabbat overlooking the lake.

Summer 2006
Rabbi Shayna Golkow spent thirteen summers at Camp Ramah in the Poconos as a camper, counselor, Rosh Edah (Division Head), and Scholar in Residence. She was ordained as a rabbi in 2019 and currently serves as the Second Rabbi at Temple Aliyah in Woodland Hills, CA. Her favorite camp tradition is Kabbalat Shabbat overlooking the lake.

Ben Zauzmer attended Camp Harlam as a camper for five summers. He currently works as an Assistant General Manager of the New York Mets, and is the author of Oscarmetrics, a book about math and the Oscars. His favorite camp tradition is song session in the Chadar Ochel (Dining Hall).

Ben Zauzmer attended Camp Harlam as a camper for five summers. He currently works as the Manager of Baseball Analytics for the Los Angeles Dodgers and uses math to predict the Oscars for The Hollywood Reporter. His favorite camp tradition is song session in the Chadar Ochel (Dining Hall).
